Personal Branding shoot in Hertfordshire with Miss Estruch Biology
I was so excited when Katie of Miss Estruch Biology reached out to me about creating some content for her brand new website that launched in 2021. Katie is a teacher and online tutor who runs an extremely successful Youtube Channel and Instagram and TikTok channels that support young people through their studies and exams in biology. As a good friend of mine already, I knew about Katie's work but it was fantastic to spend more time understanding her approach and how she creates such engaging content for her followers.
We scheduled a shoot for the summer time, and when it came around it just so happened to be one of the hottest days of the year! Luckily we were based primarily in an air conditioned co-working space (the amazing BubbleHUB in St Albans) so we didn't suffer too much with the heat!
Initially we began at Katie's home where we captured some more relaxed working lifestyle images of her. Once we were done there, we headed up to St Albans where we met some of Katie's students who had agreed to come along to help with some shots, and we worked with a few different set ups - Katie teaching in both groups and one to one, and then once we were done with the students, some of her filming her youtube videos.
Katie had some cool ideas in mind for specific images she wanted, for particular posts she knew she would be doing on social media (celebrating certain numbers of followers etc). We also did a few flat lay images for her to use across her website and social media, and finished with some portraits of her.
It was great fun creating this content with Katie and I can't wait to work with her again this year! Take a look below for a selection of images from her shoot.
